Richard Crotty

Richard Crotty

Rich's career experiences give him a competitive advantage in achieving success for his clients. Rich spent 14 years in the Florida legislature, being elected to the House of Representatives in 1978 and to the Senate in 1990. During his time as a state lawmaker, he sponsored notable laws including the prepaid college tuition program and the Junny Rios-Martinez Act, which guaranteed that sexual predators of children would not get early release from prison.

Rich was elected Orange County Property Appraiser in 1992 and was ranked the #1 Property Appraiser in the nation with the Distinguished Assessment Jurisdiction Award. In 2001, Florida Governor Jeb Bush appointed him as Orange County Chairman. He was elected to a full term in 2002, re-elected in 2006, and served as Mayor until January 2011. The title of County Chairman changed to County Mayor in 2004.

As Mayor of Orange County, Rich oversaw 7,306 County employees, an annual budget of more than $3.14 billion, the growth of the country's #1 tourist destination, and a County with more residents than 7 states.

Christina Almanzar

Associate, Public Relations & Government Affairs
Christina Almanzar

Christina manages branding and messaging at Richard Crotty Consulting Group. As the community and government affairs associate, she provides strategic counsel for public and media relations, and coordinates special events for clients. She also oversees community outreach and maintains relationships between county, city, and community officials and clients.

She has experience in media, print, and oral communication, having written news updates for WESH Channel 2's website, and served on the faculty at Valencia College, where she taught an introduction to speech course. Christina has a passion for promoting policy development, and works to foster regional strategic partnerships and alliances between clients and key contingencies in the region.

She graduated with a double degree from the University of Central Florida, having a Bachelors Degree in both Political Science and Organizational Communication. She also has a Masters Degree in Interpersonal Communication from the Nicholson School of Communication at UCF.

Molly Delahunty

Associate, Economic and Business Development
Molly Delahunty

Molly develops and executes strategic and tactical plans for client success at Richard Crotty Consulting Group. As the economic and business development associate, Molly assists in building relationships between clients and key contacts in the business community, and manages market research, planning, and follow-up.

In addition to planning and development, Molly has experience in commercial real estate and marketing having previously worked at Crossman & Company, one of the largest retail leasing and management firms in the Southeast. During her time at Crossman & Company, she authored the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Florida Retail Report from 2010-2011 as well as launched and managed the company's social media. She is also a past board member for the Central Florida Chapter of NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Development Association) Developing Leaders.

Molly graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She also has a Masters Degree in Real Estate from the University of Central Florida, where she was named the 2010 UCF Student of the Year at the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate by NAIOP. Molly is a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate.
